Right let’s begin with some Packing advice…
Often you will find that people that are moving are actually happy to finally arrive in their new home after an exhausting day or week. Some customers don’t mind that their dinner plates and china are chipped or that there is a scratch on the coffee table or their favourite lampshade has been flattened. However there’s actually no reason why your household goods should become casualties of the move. With care and attention and a little bit of planning, you and your belongings will both arrive in top-notch condition.
You may just have a quick move ahead of you but if you have a lot of stuff, a little common sense goes a long way. Think in your mind and visualise the journey ahead. Think of a stack of dishes in a box in the back of the van. No matter how well the sides are padded, a firm up-and-down jolt could in theory crack the entire stack. On the other hand, dishes packed on edge and surrounded by bubble wrap or paper have a much much better chance of survival! He Van will of course take great care with all your belongings but its always a good thing to take that extra bit of care your end to protect your belongings as they should be.
It also pays to purchase the right packing materials in the long run. Sturdy boxes, packing tape and bubble wrap can be purchased on our website. As well as these items you could also use crumpled newspaper, blankets and pillows; even clothing can serve as a buffer between breakable objects.
